Good morning. I've been making some big changes in my marketing business and today I realized I needed to update this blog, make some corrections, and delete some out-of-date posts. Since I'm no longer promoting traffic exchanges, Amazon.com, SFI Marketing Group, and others, I've deleted posts about them. This has resulted in some categories having no posts and that leads to an error, so I'm publishing this post in all categories. This is just a part of running a business in general and is particularly important when running an online marketing business. Things change and we have to change with them. Act on your dream! JD

For the last several months, I have been planning a new website to promote select, locally-owned small businesses and their owners in Murphy, NC. In July, 2009, Murphy Gold went live and now I will be concentrating on getting recommendations for other business owners who are dedicated to providing the best products and services that they can to their customers, friends, and neighbors in our small mountain town in western North Carolina. Not every business owner will be accepted, and eventually it will require two recommendations from existing Murphy Gold Business owners before I'll promote someone on the site. I'm looking forward to working on it and helping people who live in Murphy, NC and the surrounding area to get more for their hard-earned money by shopping at Murphy Gold Businesses. New Web Master designs on CafePress

It has been a very long time since I've been able to upload any new designs to my John Dilbeck's Shirts, Mugs, and Hats store at CafePress. Over the last few days, I created a dozen or so new designs and I'll be adding them to the store over the next few days, as I can. I thought it was appropriate to add some new designs to the Computers and Internet section. There are several designs in the WebMaster products, including the newest. Sometimes I see Webmaster as one word and sometimes as two. "Web Master" offers a new take on the design and it's now available on a number of products including clothing, tiles, stickers, magnets, buttons, mugs, steins, and probably a few I can't think of right now.

A few days ago, I made the decision to move all my blogs powered by Blogger off their free storage at Blogspot.com. Over the weekend, I was busy rethinking what I want to do with my blogs, how I want to power them, where I want them hosted, and how to syndicate them for maximum readership. This post is to announce a new website I just created to help me with those aims, and, also, to create the new categories I'll be using here. In subsequent postings, all will be posted to the home page, and some will also be posted to the appropriate category. It will take another week or two to make things work as well as they were before Blogger started blocking my blogs. Things happen, we make changes, time goes on.
